Bio

Experienced singer, guitarist bassist and drummer based in Chelmsford. Singing in bands for 20 years. Grade 8 in guitar. Competent strong rhythmic Bass player and 20+ years drumming for multiple bands including up until recently an Eagles Tribute. With a young family I'm unable to commit to full time band work but im happy to dep and fill in where required. Very adaptable and able to fill in where required at short notice. A listening musician i am best at keying into other musicians and adapting to fit into their rhythm.

My Gear

Guitars i mostly use an American Tele through a Helix which allows me to dial in any sound required. I also run my fender bass through the Helix. My drum kit is a Pearl Export. I have my own car and clean license and happy to travel.

Noise Limiting Options

Guitar and bass i use a Helix which direct into a PA is a fantastic way for a strong sound at a controlled volume. As a drummer i specialise using drum dampening techniques to keep spikes to a minimum and volume lower but retaining the snap and grove required. I have used hot rods on many occasions which can be a good solution for venues with noise limitations.

    Phil depped on bass for my band at a wedding and was a true professional. Great attention to detail when learning the parts and played confidently and fit in with the style of band really well. Will happily have him back!
